From 300 lbs & Struggling
to Building Something Real
I was a disabled Navy veteran on multiple medications, 300 pounds, and facing the darkest moments of my life — suicide, severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD symptoms that wouldn't quit.
The pace in the Navy was unrealistic. Grueling. 90 days at sea. Seven days a week. 12-hour shifts minimum. No personal space. No real coping mechanisms. The psychological wear and tear from that? It stays with you.
The traditional approach wasn't working. I had to change everything.
My lifestyle changes included:

- ✓Watching what I put into my body
- ✓Discovering plant-based wellness, CBD, and natural health
- ✓Learning to reconnect with myself
That transformation is why I started Shanti's Lounge — a health and wellness space for people ready for real change. We focus on reconnecting with yourself, understanding your journey, and finding community.
